i think it's the evo 7 but i dont know why just something about the evo 7

I would have said the Evo 6 RS or a simular model due to it being light weight.

i believe martin is right. the evo 6 was the fastest, unless of course u throw the FQ-400 (which is not available in the states) into the mix, then i believe that beast takes the cake.

as for usdm evos, the evo x mr is the slowest, something due to the shifting even though most dual clutch transmissions are faster than their single clutch counterparts. the gsr is slightly faster, getting about 4.9-5.0 the evo 9's should be faster than the evo 8's, the rs trims being the fastest cause they're the lightest. evo 9's have a better power to weight ratio than evo 8's, not to mention their turbo spools faster so it should generally be that stock 9's will beat stock 8's.

Thats why I rock a '97 GST Eclipse, and have a E16g Turbo waiting to be put in : )

Got it in one....:):) As for the Evo X in the UK they all seam to suffer with lag in first gear something to do with the ecu map not being great when they were imported.... My 6 GSR will do 0-60 in 4 sec dead and thats with minor mods new zorst and HKS induction and SSQV....

thank you all for ur response. The conclusion seems that the evo 6 was the fastest at about 4.4 stock (not rs).
