Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1983 cutlass Supreme Oldsmobile and
been sitting up about six years so what do I need
to do to try to start it up or get it running again?

Change all the fluids. The fuel system may be the biggest task. You will probalby need to have the gas tank professionally cleaned. The rest of the system will need cleaning out and if this is a carburated engine you will probably want to rebuild the carb. A tuneup would also be a good idea and you will need a new battery.

How much money you think I'll have to spend on trying to get my 1983 Cutlass Oldsmobile started and it been sitting 7 years and I'm just trying to get it start back running before I do anything else to it?

I have no idea at all how much you will have to spend. A big factor will be in the labor. The more you can do yourself the less you will need to spend. At a minimum I would budget $300 just for fluids and filters not counting having the gas tank professionally cleaned.
