I have a 95 olds cutlass supreme, random cylinder misfire please help! I've replaced a lot!

I've replaced upper and lower plenum gaskets, refurbished fuel rails and new injectors,
replaced wires that were corroded to the point the car wouldn't run, then had that
problem fixed, it was running great and I put it away for 9 months, I just pulled it out and it
runs fine until you need to accelerate above 2500 rpm and then it will start misfiring, if I
turn it off and let it sit for a few minutes I can start it up and drive it with no problems as
long as I stay under 2500 rpm but sometimes that not enough power to accelerate
properly with a 3.1, please help, I just did a fresh tune up and after a few weeks I will
inspect the new plugs, I used ac deco plugs but an xact wire set, I know they like deco so
delco wires? Thanks in advance!

Check your catylist converter, it's probably plugged up, thus restricting exaust, simple, just disconect it and try running it, Good Luck

Re check the plugs with regards to firing order, and replace all three coil packs

Check the cam and crank position sensors. Sounds like the ECU is putting your engine and tranny into limp mode. Had the same problem on an 04 neon of mine once. Simply pushed the center of the sensor back tightly into place. Had slid backwards a very small amount. Spent 500 dollars on other parts before I found the electronics package in the very center of the cam position sensor had come loose from its housing and tilted backwards. Simply cleaned it, put it back in tightly, sealed it with silicon adhesive, and immediately ran my engine higher than 2000 rpm or 55 mph for the first time in 4 or 5 months. It was the varying voltage of using anything electrical in my car that would throw it into limp mode. Started if I pulled a heavy electrical load at night with headlights and AC and rolling windows all at once, but progressed to the point I couldn't use anything electrical at all or it would immediately go limp on me lol. A friend laughed and opened my hood one day as I was complaining about it and within 5 seconds said ''start it up'' and I hit the key and sailed straight past 2 grand for the first time in almost 6 months. I'm like ''WHAT!!??!?? HOW DID YOU JUST DO THAT!!?? He laughs and points to the sensor and pushes on it and it slides forward just barely. Pulls it back out and the neon goes limp instantly. Pushes it back in and the neon runs perfect again. Didn't even buy a new sensor. Siliconed it in and never had another problem. Until I fell asleep and hit a cement culvert just shy of 50 mph. Neon didn't roll away from that party.. First real crash of my life. First ever broken nose too. And ribs. And stitches. Don't drive tired guys. Or replace a steering column and incorrectly reinstall the airbag lol.... I drove tired so often it was a normal daily routine. Till that day anyhow. Last 3 months had no car. Hell. IT. WAS. HELL!!!!! So yeah, cam position sensor. It'll fix anything and everything. Except rapid conversions of acceleration and momentum. Doctors fix those. Hahahaha sorry guys, sleepless and bored, been on here over 2 hours looking for ideas to get my gauge cluster to light up. Gauges all work fine, just no lights working on them. Low oil and coolant and ABS warning lights all light up. Just no gauges light up is all. Oh, 1994 Olds Cutlass Supreme SL btw. Any ideas folks...?
