It's most likely the clockspring in the steering column. Allows you to turn the wheel and use the buttons in any position.

after changing my alternator and battery on my 98 bonneville I found a short. I took out the 9c fuse that controls the power locks horn the car is not dead in the am but now I dont have heat defrost or radio...what should I do. 1 Answer

my brake lights won't stay on and everytime I replace the fuse it blows in a matter of seconds. My car has all the original bulbs. what would be the first course of action and least expensive to repair? 2 Answers

I have a 1999 Bonneville (52000 miles, garage kept, used sparingly) and yesterday when it was started the radio came on by itself. Furthermore, the buttons on the radio don't function. I can't turn it...

so i put in aftermarket radio into my 02 bonneville last saturday and got it all wired up corectly it turned on he memry was saving everything was fine but last tuesday i turned my car one it worked fine but later in the day when i was driving the radio randomly turned off and didnt turn back on the next day it turned on for like a minute and turned right back off i checked all the fuses theyre all fine i checked the wiring everything is the same and the connections are solid i have no idea what the problem is and why it wont turn back on now hoping maybe someone has an answer.
