1998 Pontiac Gran prix

Asked by Fifty Sep 04, 2020 at 04:08 AM about the Pontiac Grand Prix

Question type: Car Customization

Hello, I just picked up a 98 pontiac grand prix SE. Installed my aftermarket
stereo and it turns up, there's a pop sound that comes from the back
speakers, but there's absolutely no sound.  (Will be installing my own amp
and subwoofers) I'm sure this has it's factory amp which is causing the
speakers not to work as it's not being powered on. I've went through various
posts on many sites and the colors on my factory harness does not match
what people are saying. I don't know what to do. If anyone out here can help
I'd appreciate it. Here's the pics of the main factory harness(Speaker wires
are twisted together to separate from other's) and here's a pic of the extra
harness(3 wires) and the factory unit itself.
