2006 grand prix radio not working on fm

Could be a goner , I found a reception amplifier in my 2002 lesabre after I lost FM reception . It was under the head liner above the drivers rear seat . If you can trace an antennae wire going up past the passenger A pillar it may be leading to that device . I took it out and eliminated the solid state electronics and soldered the connections hard wired then all was good

Same thing happen to my Dads Bonnie, after taking checking it out found the FM/AM switch inside the radio went bad, just repalced it with an aftermarket unit.
