The display on my cd player is not working at all, but the cd player and radio work fine. Is there any way to easily repair the display or should I just put my aftermarket deck in?

if you have the standard sound system without the bose or onstar it shouldnt be a big deal to install an aftermarket deck plus you would get the advantages of higher quality sound and more than likely there will be an auxilary input on the aftermarket deck for an mp3 player that your stock cd player did not have, my fave companies are sony and alpine, but dual is alot cheaper and almost as good of quality
You can replace bulbs in the display cover. Its not too difficult
