is it very expensive to replace the timing chain in a 2001 pontiac sunfire 2 door coupe

no compression, wont turn over, loud clanking before it stopped running

my fault if timing chain breaks the pistons will hit the valves because they are very close in those engines; no compression. expense comes in head removal and valve replacement i would check on a price at your mechanic just call they know sorry
