Jeep grand cherokee wont shut off

My daughters 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee wont
shut off. Engine stays running even after removing
the key. Car will drive with key turned in on
position but not in the off position. The only way
to get it to turn off was to remove the alternator
wire.

hi did you find the fault as mine has same problem?

Turned out to be a wiring issue had to take to the shop, as I had already replaced the ignition switch and ASD relay and was still having problems
