probably trashed. It has sat in the same place for
years and cant run.Its full of trash.(Its also
centimental it belonged to my grandpa and he sold
it during the 90s.)

A vehicle that has sat for years not running and an interior that is shot is not worth much. How much does the seller want for it? I wouldn't pay more than a couple hundred.
I'd offer $350 assuming the current owner has the title. That's about a hundred dollars over scrap value. Don't tell the owner why you want it, I'm assuming you don't know them. If he makes a counter offer of $500 or less, and has the title, I'd take it. My 2000 Grand Prix has sentimental value to me. It was my Nephew's first car and we were very close. So I understand!! But you don't want to get taken advantage of either! Also, if they're not going to sell right now, leave them your name and telephone number. Explain that if they do decide to sell it in the future you'd be interested. I got my 70 Catalina that way. Hope that helps and good luck to you with this!! Jim
