digital mileage to empty indicator irratic

Question type: General

My miles to empty digital indicator when fuel does not function properly. as I am
driving the mile to empty indicator either will add miles to empty, not move, or
drop two to three miles at a time.

As you drive your fuel economy varies so the computer has to recalculate. Floor it and the number should drop, slow down and it should rise.
