If your back seats fold forward, you can crawl into the trunk and there should be a safety exit latch or something to open it. On the back of your trunk there is no key hole?

Were is the button on 2003 Volvo to open the trunk. Bought it from an auction they didn't have the key, the ignition key doesn't fit. Please advise

Try putting the key into the drivers side door and turn it clockwise twice. If that doesn't release the trunk, try doing it counter clockwise. Post back with results, thanks!

The same thing happened to my 2005 Volvo S40. Make sure your glove box isn't locked. If it is locked, it will prevent you from opening your trunk. Hope this helps.----- Derek M.
