what is the engine life expectancy, in terms of miles, for a S60, S70, S80?
I want to buy a Volvo S60, S70, or S80 and am wondering how many miles i can expect to get out of an average engine?

200 K if you take real good care of it
mine has 203500 and still running strong
245000 plus on my 2004 S60 T5 :)
Mine has 72,000 miles and it's been towed to the dealership 2x in one month. I am being told if I continue to have issues, I should probably look to buy a later model (it's a 2015.5!). I am a senior citizen, with no car note. I bought Volvo because of it's longevity. I am starting to regret not buying another Lexus!!!
My gently driven 2015 V60 turbo has been a big disappointment mechanically! The turbo blew up at 90k, and I've had 6 other major warranty issues all under 100 k. And Volvo Canada was less than helpful. Our family has owned 6 Volvos over the past 30 years, but I think this will be the last one!!

I have a 2006 s60 2.5t and I have driven it 293,000 miles with the original motor and transmission. I have only had to replace wear and tear parts on the car as long as you change the oil religiously mine will run forever

I love reading about the Volvo s60 life span. I have a 2006 s60 2.5t and currently has 234,600 miles on it. I change the oil every 5k miles with 5w/40 full synthetic. Do all my wear and tear repairs myself. Change brake, coolant fluids every other year. Car still runs great. The timing belt was changed at 128k miles so I think that's my next repair. I'm going to keep driving it until I can't anymore. No rust at all.
