My dad has owned two 2002 Saab 9-5s in the past and both of them had turbo problems is it the reigon the cars come from (sweden) are they unreliable or was my dad just unlucky? Need to know because we now own a volvo V50 and im just curious if it is going to happen again because it is also from sweden.

ha, don't blame the swedes. turbos go bad. they can be abused easily, especially small ones that generally come on cars from the factory. i would assume the turbos didn't come from sweden. volvos are extremely reliable cars. generally european cars just need more care taken of them..
