I contacted the owner of Houston Car Stereo who was very helpful. He has special website access to determine where the amplifier is located for a Lincoln Navigator. Highly recommend Houston Car Stereo 713-265-6225 if you ever need audio system help. The Answer is it is in the center console behind the radio. I removed the shift area bezels then the dash radio panel covers, took out the radio system to get to the top two bolts, then on the right side of the center console in the passenger seat area the lower panel is removed to access the lower 2 bolts. Pull out the unit while disconnecting 3 sets of plug wires to remove. The original part number is AA5T-18B849-AF which apparently fits numerous models like MKZ's. Lincoln dealers say the part number being sold now is AL7Z-18B49-C lists at $722.50 best I have seen on-line from some dealerships is $540.00. Dealership quoted me for a complete installation to R&R my unit the cost of $1,000. Found an exact match on eBay for my part number ranging from $68 to $250 with the higher end units offering a 90 warranty. there is one place for $300 who will refurbish your amplifier if it is possible no guarantees. I bought one with a 90 day warranty for $137 & get it in a week which is what it would take to get a new one in from a dealership. I consider myself to have saved between $600 to $850 as a DIY project going with a pre-owned amplifier.
