lincoln towncar: which one? 85-89 or 2007+?

Asked by Alanon Jul 07, 2021 at 04:48 PM about the Lincoln Town Car

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Hi guys,
I'm looking for advice on which to shop for.  I'm
looking at the Lincoln Towncars, but can't decide
which way to go.

I can find old school low mile towncars for about as
much as I can find the last few years they made
them.  From what I can gather, I can't go wrong
either way.

I want one for family road trips primarily and for me
to leisurely enjoy otherwise.  What would all y'all
recommend?

What pitfalls do either have?

Thank you!

The newer models are better and more refined. They are great cars. Always have a used car checked out by a qualified mechanic.
