Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my Saturn sl1 stalled . this is not the first time. I thought it was driver error and I just did not put clutch in all the way, because I was stresses and not paying attention .the car started after a few minutes .no noise like if the battery was dead.  Tonight it died at stop light. would not take a jump .friend did some rocking the car kind of thing ,it started . I made it home ,but when I turned it off it would not start back up

http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=181123 -- possibly the crank position sensor. Found several threads with saturn owners having similar problems. The solution was to replace sensor. Some just had to clean the connector on the sensor. Hope this helps.

fuel filter,or more likely pump may be failing, next time bang on tank,if it starts its the pump sticking! you can do this about 10 starts and then that's it
