what is the lowest geared manual transmission

Asked by biggsarge420 Aug 31, 2013 at 12:06 AM about the Saturn S-Series

Question type: Car Customization

I put 205/40/18 rims/tires on my 1995 sl1. Previously I blew a tire doing 80+ mph. It took
with it the entire left fender, part of the front bumper cover, the three inner fender panels,
elongated the axel seal, and put a hair line crack in the transmission housing radiated
straight out about 3\4" going up. Of course I installed a new seal and filled it with oil before
I found the crack. So I need a man. trans.

In general for the S-series, all the single-cam 1s had the taller gears for fuel economy while the twin-cam 2s had shorter gears for more acceleration.
