Hi! I had my oil professionally changed yesterday and the transmission in my 2005 G35 also slipped today. I haven’t had an issue before. Any ideas why this might be?

You can make your transmission worse by having a change done at higher mileage and if it was dirty. Basically you should have the fluid changed on a regular basis. If you wait to long the damage is done and even though its not slipping you are on borrowed time. the gunk is the only thing keeping it from slipping at that point and putting new fluid in you can now cause you having slips. drain 24 oz out and put in a 24oz of lucas non slip. this might buy you some time.
