can i put a 92 engine in a 90 accord

I had to replace the engine in my 90 accord i got a 92 engine as a replacement but my harness as no connection for the coil on the distributer. is there a way around this or will i need a motor for a 1990 accord?

you may just be missing a part, as long as the engine is the same model (horsepower, Ex, Lx... with ac or not, fuel injected or carborator) etc. to the original one but the 92 accord had a few very minor interior changes compared to the 90, I to have a accord 1990, overall they were the same from "1990 through 1993". but if its not the same engine, well guess your pretty screwed, but it has to be there, "if same type engine"
