i have problems with my rear sway bars...
i recently installed a custom-built rear sway bar for my civic...both ends fits perfectly with each wishbone's socket in the
middle..it lifted the rear suspension by a quarter of an inch and the springs were working without wiggling...but the screw on
the left end got loose and the whole left side of the car dropped and the sway bar was grinding on the road...
there's the deal, i got new bolt and screws and put the sway bar back...but im afraid i didnt wrench it tight enough so it might
happen again...
i need suggestions, should i re-align the sway bar to fit the rear perfectly or should i fabricate another one to fit the parallel
front end side... will a much stiffer wishbone help? other than improved cornering...
fyi the sway bar i fabricated for the front suspension (fitted under the hood, holds the shocks together and makes the ride
stiffer) had no problems eversince, and it's smaller/thinner by half an inch in diameter than the rear end which is a 2-inch solid
steel bar...
