Honda Crx question

What diamiter rim? 215/45R16 are the size of my summer wheels on my 08 fit. I think 17's will fit on a crx but it will depend on the offset of the rims. I gets complicated when u r looking for the biggest wheels possible. Remember the bigger the wheel does not mean the best performence. The best fitting wheel and right tire for your driving syle is best. Good luck on finding rims. I dont recommend a rim that is designed to fit mulitple bolt paterns eather. Get a rim that is designed for the crx there are lots to choose from.
Another thing to concider is, has the car been lowered.
Hey thanks for the help, I put on 215/45R 17 on my front and for some reason my car seems to pull all over the road now.. any clue why?
If the overall diameter changed it screws up your alignment. Also works the brakes harder.
If your CRX is an SI like mine, the factory size was 185/65-14 or 195/60-14; either worked well. To be safe and maintain close to normal performance, you should go no bigger than 2" to a 16" rim. The tire choices would be, 205/40-16 or what I'm running, 205/45-16. It tracks like a lazer, although lowered 2"...does not rub with the alignment kit. You should go no larger than 17", the tire size would be 205/40-17. Anything above 16" is gonna rob horsepower and affect gas mileage and stopping distance.
