Does a 2006 honda crv have a timing belt or chain and when should it be changed ?

I am confused about the chain/belt terminology. I do regular maintenance and don't want to have major damage done to the engine if the chain/belt needs to be serviced !!

It does have a chain, and having it break is exceedingly rare. Chain, and it’s recommended to change every 100k Miles. Better than a belt because it’s harder to break.
