False Listings on Cargurus
I saw a listing on cargurus, called the dealership to confirm that the car was
still and set up an appointment for a test drive. When I arrived, they had me
test drive another car and said the car advertised was not there despite
telling me something otherwise over the phone. They said it would be
there the next day, it was being detailed. They transferred that car to the
dealership, but then raised the price by thousands. What is cargurus doing
to ensure that people aren't wasting their time with bogus bait and swap
listings?
