what mpg does a 190 give

I get 37 MPG (based on a UK gallon, which is a bit bigger than a US gallon) on the highway and 28 MPG around town. I've got a '93 1.8L petrol manual - the 2L petrol auto I had before was a bit thirstier, lower by probably 3 or 4 MPG
There was more than one engine put in... If it is an Evolution, don't expect high mpg.
I get about 16 to 20 MPG with the 2.6L 6 cylinder engine.
In South Africa we have been metric for decades - but I think 10l/100km, or 10km / litre corresponds to 30mpg (Imperial, UK gallon) wich is what I get on the highway at 120km/h often with a little trailer or mountain bikes behind the car
My 190E gets between 11 and 12.5 km/l (25 to 30 mpg), mostly highways.
about 16mpg combined if i go easy about 9 if i cane it and about 20siting at 65mph on the motorway but its a 2.3-16v so not to bad for the year and power of the car its on a e plat 1987

My 1986 190D gets up to 37mpg most of the time. Never less than 33mpg, even doing all in-town driving.
