What does EX or EX-P mean for a Honda Element?

EX is the top end model but there is also EX-Navi model I have that one so that's the high level version. AWD is all wheel drive. There are some 4X4 you turn that on if you need all the wheels to be geared up. 4x4 has some issues issues. AWD would be more ideal.

I have an 06 EX-P The "P" stands for "P" package, that meant the the black molding that is painted the same color as the Element.
