Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Mercedes kompresso right, after letting previous owner drive it (he wanted
to buy it back) the next day it idled so badly that I got stuck on the road.  Could he have
done something to it?

He could have pulled the connections to the Mass Air Flow sensor or the Idle Air Control valve. He may have unplugged a vacuum line as well. I would call someone who knows their way around a cars engine and have them take a quick look for you.
