How to keep my car safe?

Hi guys,

I got my first camaro few weeks ago, and 4 days later somebody try to steal it in my college garage, if i didn't have a kill switch somebody would take my car.
Now is there any better ways to keep my car safe?

compustar alarm system and lojack. then even if it does get stolen which is unlikely with the compustar alarm system then then police have a tracking device on it
