Hello, No. Both systems blow compressed air to the combustion chamber and you have to choose 1 option or the other. Hope this help.

No, it is possible. VW has done it to their Golf a few times apparently. Check out this thread on it. http://www.answerbag.com/q_view/81096

yes, you can have both, but the turbo must feed the supercharger and it'd have to be custom.

yes it's been done, but it reqires a water metanol injection kit for once it exceeds 1 atmosphere of boost. it has been done to a mustang gt500 and made 1000hpwith no other engine upgrades besides fuel mapping and the water/meth kit.

Yes, it is possible, it is called Twin Charging. Google search it for more info.

ya but you will need to see if your tranny will handle the hp and torque that the motor is gonna be throwing out because its not a pretty sight when one comes undone

Yes. But its dumb. The motor will only handle so much boost at a reliable level. And either system should be able to supply it by itself. Why run 8 pounds of boost from the turbo, and 8 pounds of boost from the supercharger, when you can fun 16 pounds of boost from just the turbo or the supercharger?

i agree one or the other or you could put twin turbos and not use a super charger but both would be a waste

Yes, as others have pointed out it's called twin-charging. The systems are complicated but also very effective... The Lancia S4 built for Group B rally is a prime example. Typically the supercharger is connected to the drive-train through the use of belts and an electrically controlled clutch that allows it to disconnect once the turbo has spooled up.

zzperformance has performed the setup on the GM 3800 and the results are insane

if you have enough money i would go with a ProCharger man........that is one crazy charger man...

yes a turbo and a supercharger can go on the same engine........but if your not running a diesel engine then its not worth going through the trouble....and the turbo must feed into the supercharger........of you feed the supercharger into the turbo....you will lose the turbo in about thirty seconds.....

What about a procharger feeding twin turbos would that work? Things I think about when I have been off work too damn long

I do believe most engines with stock heads would blow a head gasket very quickly. It is a rather neat combo to think about. Steven.

yes its done all the time but it would be cheaper and quicker to just use smaller turbos for low end and bigger turbos for top end so what you would end up with is quad fans they make a special manifold for that. or you could just have one build right off you're headers plumbing will get tight for space but the same thing happens if you try to ad a pro-charger for low end. the car will tell you what to do in the end . unless you are willing to do alot of cutting and welding . witch is the reason most built for drag cars don't have inner finder or wheel wells their gutted all the way back to the fire wall and most of them have mod'ed fire walls you're probably not going to do that shit to you're daily driver unless you're one of those crazy i don't give a fuck guys if so i get it have fun figuring out how much its going to take to get it done right. lol.

dont forget most race cars are just skinned roll cage's for many reasons. the biggest are safety . weight saving. and parts placement

I have a possible solution mind you i am 14 at the moment Could you take a throttle body and intake and put it on to a blower it then hook the turbo to there

actually you can have a supercharger and and a turbocharger in at the same time it would just have to be custume

I've seen a 240 SX built as a supercharged turbo, though this example the man used it on an official Drift track. I'm sure if it were built for autocross it would have been different, so it's definitely possible.

Volvo has a supercharged and turbocharged 2.0l engine in most of their vehicles. cool system because the supercharger has a clutch system to Engauge and disengage it
