you may want to do a drain flush, refill with collent, sounds like their is more water than antifreeze in the cooling system.if you live where it gets down right cold, especally at night,do not put the 50/50 pre mix in it,1 gallon of pure antifreeze, top off with distelled water or 2 gal of antifreeze.
thanks ill do that when i get off the rd again it aint going to hurt it is it?
id drain some and refill with straight coolant like the other guy said jjust slushy isnt bad but if it actualy freezez you could crack the block if the freeze plugs dont do there job personaly id do somthing about it but im picky
i would but im workin hell its a chevy lol i wanna put a 4.3 in it
the beast started up yesterday got a tick somewere but hell the beast is alive muhhaaa
the ticking u here is just a lifter tap, where it has been setting, oil and filter change plus a bottle of stp oil treatment should cure the problem, did you do the antifreze change.
yeah i put some in her ill try that stp stuff i know the 3.1 were notorious for that lifter nock
