I just got done doing mine and set it at .041 and the only reason I did it like that is because I hope it may make my spark plugs last a little longer I asked in mechanic and he told me like anywhere between point . 038 to. 042 would still be fine I just recently bought the car and I decided to change the spark plug wires and spark plugs into the spark plugs or so used I measured it and it is at .08 so for all I know want to cylinders may not have been biring I do go then provement now that I've changed it and I got a good deal on it to $300 if it took a turd on me today I can scrap it for 350 the guy that I got said he would rather have it go to someone who really needs it even if it meant losing 50 bucks he would rather see it on the road, rather see it on the road he does not know yet but I am going to bring him the other 50 that he thought he lost it's only right but the motor and tranny run fine I'm really happy I got it for that the price I mean in the car cuz he dumped on me today I can take it to the scrap yard and get my money back I'm going to invest between $300 in $400 into that Cavalier and it may do me a couple years if I do regular maintenance on it maybe longer and will give me time to save up about 10 grand the walk in to a new car dealership in buying the car it's 12. $14,000 you say hey I have 10 grand cash on me let's talk I'm thinking about getting a hybrid I figured how to fix the batteries on those hybrids they have a whole lot of cells on the battery you go through check each one of those sales more than likely one of those sales are bad you can go to the AutoZone order one 30 bucks and a lot of money instead of taking it to the dealership I'm having them good for an outrageous price because you're just giving you know a new battery more than I or they are just changing out the cell and totally ripping you off when my cousins battery went bad on that hybrid I said let me do an experiment on your battery sure enough one of the cells are bad went to AutoZone they ordered a new one for us replace the bad one and she thought she was getting ready to pay the dealership $2,500 all she had to do is buy the cell two screws take the old cell and switch it out with the new one and what's odd about that story is that I don't know much about mechanics but do know quite a bit about batteries I should go and put in an ad offering the fix in between 800 dollars and $1,200 it would save them between 2000 + $5,000 in some cases good for both of us sorry guys I get to rambling sometimes get off the subject I'm done have a good day but if any of you have hybrid cars use a battery checker on each and you will find your problem
