MY 2007 cobalt suddenly became hard to start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

It was running perfectly until 2 days ago then acted like it was flooded when I
tried to start it. Next, I Stepped on the gas first then tried and it kicked over
and shook a few times and finally smoothed out. When I reved it up It would
kick back at 35 rpms.It does this every time now.Once it smooths out it is ok
until I start it again.

I just checked it and it is ok. I also started the car and there was no problem this time but It wont run faster than 3000 rpms it goes faster then slower back and forth.I never rev it more than 2500 when i'm driving but i am guessing there is still something wrong.
