I just purchased a 1958 Impala. Where can I get information to properly restore this car?

I need information on colors in trunk, materials, original engine compartment look etc.

Start by contacting Dan's Classic Auto Parts. They can get you all the books, parts (new and used), They sell factory assembly manuals and color samples etc. http://www.dansclassic.com/index.cfm
