Power supply fails while turning indicator or head lamps on

Asked by mastter007 Mar 23, 2017 at 04:34 AM about the Chevrolet Lumina

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone,

I have a Cheverolet, Lumina LS 2005. While driving I tried to turn on indicator lamp and all of the sudden entire power supply failed. Breathing light and doors open lamps were blinking dim.

I parked the car on road side and after my office went there with a mechanic, he turned the key in ignition and started the vehicle. He played around with all buttons. It worked without any problem.

I drove the vehicle back to my regular parking without any problem. Later in the night I decided to turn on the car again. It started without any problem, but as soon as I turned on head lamps, all power supply went off again…

Any idea what is happening here?

Thanks
