my remotes, have a hard time working, one is broken on two solder spots. con i re-solder it?...is this normal on the malibu?..what to do?...what year was GM having hard times and going to file bankrupcy, or close??

no on the resolider,your gm dealer can order you a new one,or just have them unhook it.

I have resoldered hundreds of these remotes. It is very easy to do if you have a soldering iron and some solder. Another really common problem with these remotes is that the buttons wear out on the inside. The perfect solution to that is the keylessfix button repair pad. Its cheap and it works great.
