from a 230 straight 6 cylinder to a 400 small block v8. Very broad range, mpg range from 16 to 8 realistically. That old and big of a car if your worried about gas mileage you shouldnt get it. Buy a civic

70 malibu had a 250 striaght 6 or 307. the chevelle on the other have had a 350,396,400 or 454. what kind of gas mileage does what get , you didn't say what engine you have. the bigger the engine the more gas it burns. if you're looking for a gas guzler thats it .
