have no fuel pressure on fuel rail of 98 S-10 2.2L
I've changed the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel relay, the PCM, crankshaft
position sensor. Could the ICM be shutting the injectors down? have fire, just no fuel.
tries to start on starting fluid, but won't run on its own, Fuel pump kicks on when you
turn key on but kicks back off after about 5 to 10 seconds. Truck won't start.

Have you checked the fuel pressure at the fuel rail? Fuel pressure should be between 41-47 psi while the pump is running with key key on and engine off. When the engine is running the fuel pressure should read 31-44 psi. If fuel pressure is less than this or right around the bottom number it might not have enough to start it.
This happend to my 97 s10 and found out it was the in-line fuel filter. Cost $30.00 with installation.... no problem since then and that was 5 years ago! Let us know, ok ?
