How reliable is an Ultra Transmission?

Question type: General

I may need to rebuild or replace my transmission. I currently have a 4L60e in
a 94 Silverado 1500 RWD 4.3l engine truck. I can get an Ultra tranny new
from O'reilly's for about 1100.00. I could have this on rebuilt for (worst case
senario) 2500.00. I am looking for whether or not the Ultra tranny is a quality
and reliable tranny. Anyone have stories or knowledge to share?
