It sounds like the end latches need to be freed of any rust and lubricated if you have already replaced the handle mechanism. I've had to do this twice to my 04 so far. Its a pain in the ass but it sure beats buying new latches and handles every two years. Also check the strikers and make sure they're where they should be and aren't bent or out of place at all. we also see alot of tailgate that are tied or held shut with rope or bunjie cords

Hi i have a 2001 chevy silverado with a 4.8 engine my problem is that i am getting current to the driver side of the injectors but all four injectors on the passenger side are not. what can it be?
