Pull off the diff cover and count the ring gear teeth and the pinion gear teeth, then divide the pinion gear into the ring gear. That will give you the exact ratio.
I would have to split the whole front differential to be able to do that I was hoping there is a way with out splitting the front axle thanks for your help
most differentials have it stamped on the housing but that relys on trusting that the center has never changed you can also try turning the prop/tailshaft and counting how many turns of the shaft to 1 turn of the hub it is not as acurate but it will give you an approximate idea.
it is the same ratio of the rear , but if you dont know and the sticker on frt diff not reaadable the dealer can lookit up for you VIN #
Thank you guys I also found out that it should be the same gear ratio or real close to the rear thank you kevin
