What are the biggest tires i can fit under my 1992 Silverado 1500 2wd

I had a 1990 1500 W/T with 31x10.5 R15 the pics are on here . If I'm correct 33x10.5s should fit but I'm not positive. Be aware that they throw the speedometer off. My 31s ended up being where Spedo said 5 I was Actually going 6 I did all the math by using circumference of the stock tires vs the 31s. 30 on the spedo was 35. 60 was 70. So if ur in a 55 and think your safe doing 60.... your not. Let me know what the stock tires are measured at and what size you decide to go and I'll figure how much faster it will be.
Yeah my buddy has a lifted Ram 1500 with 35's and it does the same thing with the speedometer. The tires I have on there now are stock, so I think there 235/75R15, but they are extremely worn.

The way a tire is measured in metric is the width 235mm is 9.25 inches wide and the second is the height in a percentage of width. 75% of 9.25 is 6.9375 third number is obvious. Idk if you used a tape measure or what but 28.875 is the height of a brand new 235/75R15 that's a 7% increase l50mph=53.5) to the 31's 14% (50mph=57) to the 33's and 21% (50mph=61) to 35's. Are you looking for height or mostly the look you get with a wide tire? A 275/65R15 is 10.8 inches wide and 29.07 inches tall. Height of a tire changes how power is put to the ground and when you start going taller it does deplete gas mileage. It also screws with the odometer. If this is a weekend driver I say go as big as possible but for an every day driver I think the 275's will look awesome and won't hurt the wallet so much. Go to a tire store and ask to see what a 275 looks like. In the end buy online its way way cheaper and then take it to a shop for install.
I remembered the 31s on my truck were a 20%+ its been 2 1/2 yrs. I forgot. So I was wrong on the 60=70 it was 50=60

I do want to go a little taller,(somewhere around 275 sounds good to me) and have a wider look as well. What would you recommend?
Since the height is the same as stock and the width is .4 inches wider than what I had on mine. That's .2 inches in from the hub and .2 out I dont see any issues with that at all. and if I remember correct 33x11.5 will fit on a 4X4 with no mods. As for a leveling kit, look at my profile, mine had a 4.3 as far as the height of the front end I replaced my old shocks with a set of KYB Monomax shocks and it made the front end come up quite a bit I'm 6'2" about 350lbs. I can take just about any shock off the shelf and easily compress it all the way by hand. I couldn't budge these monomaxs. I set it on the ground and stuck a 2x4 on the threaded end and put all my weight on the board, it ended up digging a hole in the 2x4. Very inexpensive and very easy to change compared to having someone do it. It depends on what you're going for also I personally liked my trucks a** sticking up in the air. It reminded me of those dragster hot wheels with the back end jacked up!!! If it was a newer 98- present then I'd say level it but as far as the 97 and older goes I like them either way

I'm running 33x12.50r15s on mine
Takes me way back. On an '88 GMC Sierra 4X4 I went up in size to a 265 85R16. 8 had to take it out on the Pennsylvania Turnpike to do measured mile runs. I timed my runs and also clocked the recorded mileage. I found that I was only recording, roughly, 90% of the actual distance traveled. Really reaching back I roughly calculated that at 50 MPH indicated I was really going 55 or 56 MPH. I seem to recall getting better fuel economy on my trips to the mountains since the taller tire size acted as taller gearing in the final drive mode. These recollections of mine are 30 or so years old.
I have a 2010 gmc seirra 1500. I’m running 275-55r20 with almost no rubbing, the only time I rub is if I’m full turn and flex a bit, only rubs like that on the mud flaps of witch mine are really thick heavy duty ones. 275-55r20 I beleive is 31” by 10” wide on 20” rims
