I was wondering if the 305 would go in and just leave the intake and carb on it, and run
the truck with the carb on the engine, or would I need to use the 350 intake and T.B.I. Off
of the 350. It would be the best case if the 305 could be installed intact with carb. But I
might be just dreaming!!! Any help would be greatly appriciated... Mike

these are two different generations of pickups...if you consult wikipedia you can find this chart for motor size~

Thanks a lot... I did forget to mention the 87 motor is from my 1987 monte SS Aero Coupe.. As I replaced the Aero Coupe with a crate L T 1 engine a few years ago I don't think this would change the application though..... Thanks Aerocoupelt1

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado extended cab, 4.8 liter. I have had multiple issues with this vehicle, but the one I can't seem to solve is this: if I leave the truck sitting for a day, when I get in and start driving, about 5 miles down the road, it acts like it is being starved of fuel. The engine light starts blinking and there is no power even when i step on the gas fully. After a minute or two, it goes away and runs fine unless I let it sit for a couple days. I just replaced my fuel lines because they were rusted out but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas anyone? 6 Answers

Engine light is always on and blinks on and off when problem occurs.
