Question type: Maintenance & Repair
98 chevy silverado manual transmission is making
a knocking noise only when I put the clutch in.
Truck shifts fine the only other problem with it right
now is the fuel injector. Need help with any ideas
of what it could be.

sounds like your throw-out bearing is going out
can you feel it in the pedal when you depress it to the floor?
No feels no different just started making the noise
Replaced the throw out bearing already
well crap - I'd have to hear it then - Next time your in Arizona drive on by and I'll take a look....LOL
HaHaHa - ok well so do I so bring it on by....lol
a marriage on the way??? replace the release bearing
Lol.....you asking. Damn didn't realize asking a question would get a question. Thanks for the response
Same difference btw. I already did the clutch bearing. I'm just gonna pull the whole damn clutch. Truck has over 200k on it so I would say it's time for a new clutch.
lol, why do the bearing and not taking a look at the clutch??? ouch hate double work!!! enjoy :-)
