I have a 1992 Chevy truck 1500 the engine
size is 305 with a 700r4 tranny it's an
extended cab truck. My question is where
the differential gears are what are the gear
ratios for them.

The differential gears are in the differential (rear end gear). There are probably 2 or 3 different ratios that could be in your truck. Possibly there is a tag or stamping somewhere near the differential housing. (Near the rear end underneath between the rear wheels).
