Motor replacement

I am replacing a 1990 model Z71 truck
motor the truck has a 5-speed transmission
it has the 350 TBI throttle body I am having
trouble getting the end of the transmission
up into the clutch assembly and the engine
motor mounts to go over the ones that are
on the chase any suggestions

You need a clutch alignment tool to get the clutch lined up so the transmission input shaft will fully engage the pilot bearing and the clutch disk.
