if someone siphoned gas will the digitaln fuel read pick that up?

went to drive truck and fuel door open fuel cap loose, thought someone siphoned gas, turned on truck and it digital fuel read 14.96 gals used but it had 3/4 tank when I parked it now empty. truck was attached to toy hauler all week after weekend camping. Wondering if my kid pulled a fast one on me.

Sure sounds like someone did help them selves to your gas.

i also put a locked cap on my ride. the camaro had it the first week i got it.
