No power to the computer No power to the scanner
I hooked up a scanner to the truck and nothing happened. The scanner didn't
even light up. the batteries are fully charged. Where does the power to the
computer come from? what wiring harness carries the power to the computer?
What year truck is this?
2003 chevy silverado 6.6 duramax
What wire harness carries power to the ECM?/?? I feel it is a frayed wire cause sometimes it starts and runs fine.
Bottom right #16 comes from the battery is the power to fire up your scanner.
OK git it working. The code is P0380 Glow plug Heater circuit A. This truck 2003 chevy Duramax 6.6 turbo HAS a GLOW PLUG CONTROLLER MODULE and a GLOW PLUG RELAY. Which one heats up the glow plugs??????????????????/
