Asked by GuruV2746 Sep 11, 2018 at 01:18 PM about the Mercedes-Benz 500-Class

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2 women on disability stranded because one
ignorant boyfriend decided to buy 247000
mile car that is expensive to fix and on a
fixed income. Ignition, steering wheel ,
shifter all locked. Steering quick fix doesn't
work, break pushed doesn't work and shifter
will not move. Any ideas? Can't even move it!
Help!!!

That was my first thought. The wife of the husband that purchased the vehicle is now in jail and left her with the piece of junk and the car note. Thanks!

Make sure battery is charged. turn steering wheel side to side as you turn on key with foot hard on brake. Make sure transmission is fully in park., if that doesnt work try same sequence with shifter in neutral.
