Question type: Maintenance & Repair

car has been parked for a year and there is a spot under the back of the engine
by the rear seal. How do I know where it  i coming from, heard it could be the
distribuater (sp) or valve cover but has not been running.

1 Answer

Clean the engine and see where the oil comes from. You could go ahead and replace the valve cover gasket and distributor O-ring as these repairs are easy and cheap to eliminate those possibilities.
