Dodge brakes just aren't all that. They work fine but tend to get pricey when it's time for maintenance. Your rotors are no doubt warped. Any more, Dodge Rotors are throw-away parts. Absolutely check the calipers but don't forget the rear brakes. Are they working or are the fronts doing all the work (overheating, warping and making the vehicle shake when applied)?

Make sure the bearings are under the correct preload. Also, try rotating the tires. If that makes any difference, of any kind, you have a shifted or broken belt and need new tires immediately.

I am going to have to agree with Tom.. Look at your tie rod ends and ball joints.

thats weird because I changed my rotors, and have brand new tires on my caravan and still when brakes are applied the front end violently shakes ??? my rear brakes are garbage they been messed up since after the first 2 years I had this pos van, I also own a 04 Cavalier and I've spent more money on brakes for my 08 van than I have on my stereo system for my Cavalier or any repairs on my Cavalier for that matter

For the Guy with the front A/C not working ,I have the same problem ,I am told that it is the Blower Motor Resister.Changing it today ,it is a $17 part just behind the Glove Box.See it on You Tube. Good Luck.

Have the same shaking issue... i believe its the brake line to one of the calipers, is the issue... not allowing the caliper to open and close properly

It's the transmission that is the problem. I know it seems like a brake problem but when you add a small bottle of shudder fixer from Auto Zone, the problem disappears for quite a while. It may come back and then add another bottle ($10). Eventually you'll need transmission repair service.
